About Gemmological Association of Australia (GAA) - Western Australia
GAA Western Australia is the Western Australian division of the Gemmological Association of Australia, based at Unit 14, 136 Railway Street in Cottesloe. The division provides gemmological education and industry support for people working with gemstones and jewellery across Western Australia.
Its programs are relevant to jewellers, designers, valuers, retailers and students seeking practical and theoretical knowledge of gems and diamonds. GAA education helps industry participants understand gemstone identification, grading, treatments and other factors that influence professional decisions in jewellery.
The Cottesloe premises provide a local point of contact for WA students and members. Contact the division for current courses, practical training, seminars, membership information and visiting arrangements.
