About Gem-Array Jewellers

Gem-Array Jewellers is a Ballina jewellery business that began in early 1986 after humble beginnings in an old dairy shed on the founder’s family property. The name came from the idea of presenting an “array of gems,” and the business has now spent close to four decades serving customers in the Northern Rivers from its Ballina location.

The team includes highly qualified master craftsmen as well as experienced retail staff, allowing Gem-Array to combine a substantial jewellery range with workshop services. Custom design is an important part of the business, giving customers the opportunity to develop engagement rings, wedding jewellery and other one-off pieces around their own ideas and preferred gemstones.

The workshop also handles the ongoing care of jewellery. Services associated with Gem-Array include repairs and restoration, valuations, engraving, pearl restringing and watch-related work. This is especially useful for customers with jewellery that has sentimental value, because an experienced jeweller can assess whether a piece should be repaired, restored or remodelled rather than simply replaced.

      Brought my watch in to get it repaired, Anita couldnu2019t have been more helpful, I had the wrong links and left it with her for the jeweller to take a look. Anita called me next day to explain that she had put a note in with my watch with all the info I needed to find the parts for my watch. When I came into the store the lovely lady who served me ( Iu2019m sorry I didnu2019t get her name) was equally as helpful and she wouldnu2019t even let me pay for their troubles. Highly recommend this store. Fantastic!

      On Sunday my little 4 year old boy wanted to buy my birthday present from here. We were assisted my Anita, she was wonderful in helping him pick what he wanted to get me, sitting him down at the table and making him feel so grown up and special while also sticking to his budget.       The experience at Gem-Array was absolutely fantastic. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I had my engagement and wedding rings resized, replated and diamonds checked and replaced along with another dress ring that was also resized etc. the workmanship is beautiful and I am so happy with both. Definitely recommend. Thank you u263aufe0f will definitely be back!
