      In regards to the most recent review. I came into the Shop just as this personu2026u2026. I wonu2019t call him a gentlemanu2026u2026..was about to leave. . His attitude towards the Shop owner was incredibly rude and arrogant. I have had many dealings with Boonah Jewellery and Gifts. I canu2019t fault the Service that I have received. Professional and courteous. Robert goes above and beyond to help. Myself and many others are grateful for Robertu2019s great wealth of knowledge.

      Definitely the most unpleasant retail experiences I have had in Boonah.nI brought in a 1966 Tudor Oyster watch handed down to me by my late father.nThe business owner says to me u201coh, a poor manu2019s Rolexu201d.I was only after a new band but the man informed me it needed to have the winder replaced. I didnu2019t realise that he was unable to perform the works in-house. He said he would need to send it away. After another couple of rude asides thrown in I accepted to proceednHe later advised me it would cost $900.nI went in and advised him I was not willing to spend that amount and asked for it to be returned. Twice I came in to see if he had the watch. Finally on the third visit, a couple of months later, he gave me back the watch without the metal band or pins. He falsely claimed these were not with the watch when I brought it in. Also telling me I should have paid for the quote, a fact I would have been willing to do if he even mentioned it.nI have had a quote from an alternative jeweller and the works are substantially less than quoted initially.nThe owner of this business constantly had a rude demure and was generally unhelpful throughout the whole process.nWe parted with him informing me he has been in business for 50 years and never had an issue expressed with his service. I certainly doubt that is the case.nMy advice, avoid at all costs.

      Dreadful experience. Wanted to get a ring repaired. Was not told it needed to be sent away for a quote and repairs (found that out later). Did not hear back so went to see them and was told the quote was not yet back and they would ring me when it was. The lady phoned last Thursday and the quote was over $250 (the initial estimate given was around $78). I said I could not afford this. Went in last week to get my ring and was told it was not yet back and that it usually took a while as several items were returned at once. Went in again on Monday and was told it was being dispatched that day but as it was coming from Melbourne it would take a couple of days. I was phoned yesterday to say it was back and when I went to pick it up today I was charged $10 for postage. I was most upset and said I was not told this at the time and the women said they had to pay to send it down and it cost more than this to send it and I had decided not to go ahead with the repair so I was being charged $10 for postage. Silly me I thought the guy that was there was actually a jeweller and did not think I would be charged for a quote. If I had known this in advance I would have gone out of town. I WILL NOT recommend this Jewellers to anyone and will also warn all my friends about my very bad experience and the terrible service. Also I would not give this business any stars but could not right this unless I clicked on at least 1 star.
