McGlades Jewellers began as a store owned by Mel McGlades in 1939. The store has became not only a longstanding jeweler in Australian Capital Territory but an institution popular with fans of unique jewellery, custom creations, quality keepsakes, and unique collectibles.
Our family-owned, local specialty store staffs experts in several fields, including jewellers, designers, goldsmiths, re-stringers, valuers, and gemmologists.
In addition to our in-depth selection of jewellery, we also specialize in custom jewellery, which our staff designs using their craftmanship. McGlades' retail shop also features an extensive collection of worldwide jewellery and giftware.

They seemed to be one of the very few jewellers in Canberra who had a professional available to quote for the job on site. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful or pleasant and the repair was first-rate and done within a few days. To my mind, this is the best jeweller in Canberra. Five stars.
