About Kimberley Fine Diamonds

Kimberley Fine Diamonds is a Kununurra diamond house established in 1991 by outback pioneer Frauke Bolten-Boshammer. Based in Western Australia’s far north, the business has developed a distinctive identity around Argyle pink diamonds, Australian precious materials and jewellery inspired by the colours and landscape of the Kimberley.

The business is an appointed Argyle Pink Diamond Select Atelier, giving it a specialist connection with some of Australia’s rarest natural diamonds. Its collections also feature other natural coloured diamonds, Australian gold and Broome South Sea pearls. Rather than presenting these materials simply as commodities, Kimberley Fine Diamonds uses them in designs intended to reflect the region where many of the stones and materials originate.

A full jewellery workshop operates onsite in Kununurra. The team includes master jewellers, designers and gemmologists who work with customers from gemstone selection through design and manufacture. Custom projects can therefore be developed within the same business, whether the brief is an engagement ring, a coloured-diamond piece or a design built around a particular stone.

The studio also creates ready-to-wear collections, including its recognisable boab-inspired jewellery and Frauke’s Collection, alongside rings, bangles, necklaces, earrings and loose diamonds.
