After receiving a Colombian emerald from a family member, Anibal developed a fascination with the stone and began building relationships that would eventually make Colombian emeralds one of the company’s defining specialities in Australia.

Torres works with loose diamonds, sapphires, rubies, aquamarines and other precious and semi-precious gemstones, allowing customers to begin a custom project with the stone itself rather than choosing only from finished jewellery. Its diamond range includes certified stones in different shapes, qualities and sizes as well as fancy-coloured diamonds.

Custom design is a major service. Clients can discuss an engagement ring, gemstone ring or other one-off piece and work through stone selection, metal and design before manufacture. The business also offers special orders, jewellery repairs and insurance or estate appraisals. Registered valuations are provided on purchases made through Torres.
