About Linneys

Linneys is a Western Australian family-owned manufacturing jeweller with more than five decades of experience creating fine jewellery. The business began in 1972 when Alan Linney established a small goldsmithing practice in Perth’s London Court. His early work with Australian South Sea pearls helped shape a distinct design identity, and the company later developed close connections with Western Australia’s precious materials, including pearls, gold and Argyle pink diamonds.

The heart of Linneys remains its fully equipped Subiaco design studio and workshop, where the company combines traditional goldsmithing skills with modern jewellery technology. Its jewellers use techniques such as hand forging and wax carving alongside computer-aided design, with the finishing work completed by hand. Linneys says more than 90 per cent of its jewellery is handcrafted in its Subiaco workshop by local designers and master jewellers.

The business creates engagement rings, wedding bands, diamond jewellery, pearl jewellery and bespoke commissions, while also producing larger collections inspired by Western Australian landscapes and materials. Linneys has received numerous Australian jewellery design awards over its history and has built a reputation for working with Australian South Sea pearls and rare diamonds.

Now operating under second-generation family leadership, Linneys continues to balance its manufacturing heritage with contemporary design. For clients, that means access to an established local workshop as well as a broader fine-jewellery offering across its Western Australian showrooms.
