Lili Fine Jewellery

Lili Fine Jewellery is a small, family-owned jewellery studio in Torquay specialising in handmade custom jewellery, remodelling, restoration and repairs. The business was established in 2003 and is led by owner and jeweller Wendy, whose jewellery career began as a teenager. Wendy completed a Gold and Silversmithing Diploma at RMIT before undertaking a four-year apprenticeship and gaining experience in Melbourne’s jewellery industry, including work around Collins Street as well as positions elsewhere in Melbourne and along the Victorian coast.

That background informs a design style that can move from classic jewellery through to more contemporary work, depending on the client and the piece being created. Lili Fine Jewellery makes custom pieces including diamond engagement rings and wedding jewellery, while also undertaking remakes and remodels for customers who want to preserve important stones or precious metals in a new form. Repairs and restoration are completed onsite, allowing the studio to handle both new commissions and the ongoing care of existing jewellery. As a smaller business, Lili places emphasis on working closely with clients and taking the time required to understand what they want from a finished piece. The result is a workshop-led service where design, manufacture and repair are closely connected, with the aim of creating jewellery that is personal, wearable and made to remain part of the owner’s life for many years.
