I came in to find something for my mothers 50th birthday, unsure of what to get her and in need professional advice, i met the young lady named maisy who helped guide me in the right path, specifying what metals and designs may align with what my mother wears, she confidently picked out a beautiful piece that encapsulates all the little features that brought simplicity in an authentic way, i’m so appreciative of the help and support gained throught my experience at prouds- thanks maisy
Went to prouds today to treat myself some jewellery, bought some chains and I was a bit tedious and all over the place. But the service was great and a lady Tahlia was very patient with me. Thank you Tahlia!

Came in Boxing Day during lunchtime, they were pretty busy and only had a couple of staff on the floor so I didnu2019t mind waiting. A young girl with brown/black hair came to serve me and I asked if I could see a couple pieces in the spinning cabinet by the front of the store, once the young girl got them for me I asked if I could take the jewellery out of the box and this young girl automatically thought I was going to run away and steal the jewellery. I was so offended by this! She kept telling me that I can only hold the jewellery as long as I donu2019t run away with it (these were her exact words) and she said this to me multiple times, by the way the jewellery was only $25. I was dressed nicely and felt so uncomfortable from her, usually the service is good from here but I wonu2019t be returning for a while as this has left me very disappointed. Please donu2019t assume things next time as most people will walk out buying nothing.

I bought a box chain from your Lithgow store about 15 months ago, and had a small heart-shaped locket hanging from it (very small and very light). Then roughly 6 months ago, one of the links broke when I was drying myself and the towel snagged it - my fault.nnSo I took the chain to your Bathurst store and asked if they could repair the break. I was told by staff that they had a repair service in Sydney and that the chain would need to be sent away, and I should have it back in two weeks. It was, and when I was able to get into the store, I collected the chain no problems. They charged me $30.00nnThen, roughly 6 weeks later, the chain broke again (in the same place) and so I took it into your Bathurst store once again to have it sent away again, where it was repaired again and returned. I collected my chain and was charged another $30.00nnThen, A WEEK LATER, the chain broke AGAIN, in the same place AGAIN. Well this time I was angry and went immediately to your Bathurst Store to have it repaired a third time. It was on this third visit that I was finally told by a member of your staff (perhaps she was even the manager, I don't know) that once a box chain was broken, they couldn't be repaired due to their design.nnSo effectively, they misled me twice, and took my money for a service that was unfit for purpose, twice. The staff member wasn't interested in helping me or offering me an exchange or refund as per Australian Consumer Law, and in fact attempted to sell me something else.nnI'm done shopping with Prouds, and I will be warning all my friends and family to never shop in your stores. I wonder if this is how you treat all of your customers. Appalled.
