About Ruby Tuesday Jewellery
Ruby Tuesday Jewellery is an independent Warrandyte studio and gallery specialising in handmade jewellery, bespoke commissions and the remodelling of existing pieces. The business has spent around two decades working from its Warrandyte workshop near the Yarra River, drawing on the area’s creative character while maintaining a strong focus on traditional jewellery-making skills.
A team of four trade-qualified jewellers works on site, allowing design and manufacture to happen within the same studio. Customers can commission a completely new piece, including engagement and wedding rings, or work with the jewellers to transform inherited gemstones and outdated jewellery into something that better suits the current wearer. That remodelling service is particularly useful for people who want to retain the emotional value of an older piece while changing its style or function.
Ruby Tuesday also carries an in-store range of handmade jewellery for customers who prefer to choose an existing design. The collection reflects the studio’s emphasis on distinctive rather than mass-produced work, with pieces created using established bench techniques and tools that have long been part of the jewellery trade.
The workshop setting gives customers a closer connection to how their jewellery is made. Rather than separating the retail experience from production, Ruby Tuesday allows clients to discuss design ideas directly with qualified makers and see the type of work being undertaken on the premises.
