Bowral Fine Jewellery is a boutique jewellery studio in Bowral, specialising in handmade, bespoke fine jewellery created with traditional craftsmanship and a highly personal approach. The studio is led by second-generation master jeweller George Karvounis and qualified jeweller Rebecca Lee Bon, who bring extensive jewellery-making experience to the Southern Highlands.

George learned his craft through the legacy of his father, master jeweller Petros Karvounis, before going on to work as a head jeweller for some of Australia’s leading designers and workshops. Rebecca began her jewellery career as a teenager and excelled throughout her apprenticeship, receiving the highest award on graduation before gaining further experience with respected Sydney designers.

Together, George and Rebecca combine old-school hand forging and hand-making techniques with contemporary design, creating one-of-a-kind pieces with a strong focus on craftsmanship, detail and individuality. Their work includes fine diamond and gemstone jewellery, with designs ranging from timeless classics to bold, distinctive statement pieces.

The studio also places great importance on the sentimental value of jewellery, carrying forward generations of skills and knowledge while creating pieces intended to become future heirlooms.
