We are a family business run in Canberra by Hellen and Phil for 29 years (7 years at the former location in Woden Plaza and 22 years at our present location in Mawson). Advance Jewellers is a Boutique Jewellers Shop, not affiliated with any Chain of Stores whatsoever. Advance Jewellers is entirely an independent Jewellers store.

2022 is Helen's 56th year in the jewellery business. For you, our client, her extensive knowledge of this business translates into satisfying personal attention and superior customer service.

Phil, for the last few years has been working his magic with pearls and things. Phil personally does all our pearl and bead re-threading and knotting and associated tasks by hand, so your precious pearls never leave the premises.

Jewellery Repairs comprise a large part of Advance Jewellers' daily operations, and it may be said that we take pride in our skill on them. The secret weapon to our success is our Canberra-based workshops specializing in Jewellery Repairs . This ensures unparalleled security for your valuables as they are handled by our in-house Jewellers as well as by us.

We also provide Jewellery Valuations for Insurance or Estates and have available to us the services of a qualified and registered Jewellery Valuer (member of the National Council of Jewellery Valuers). Jewellery Valuations are performed at a fixed price and not on a Percentage of Value.
