About Carella Jewellers

Carella Jewellers is an independent Rockhampton manufacturing jeweller focused on one-off pieces, custom orders and hand-made jewellery. Public business information identifies qualified jeweller Carolyn Stevenson as the owner and maker behind the business, with an approach centred on producing jewellery that feels individual rather than repeating the same design across a large retail range.

A key part of the Carella model is custom work. The business offers made-to-order jewellery in gold and silver, including engagement rings, wedding bands and fitted wedding rings designed to sit neatly against an existing engagement ring. Its broader range has included pendants, earrings, rings, bangles, men’s jewellery, birthstone pieces and special-occasion jewellery.

Carella places particular emphasis on solid construction and individuality. Public descriptions from the business note that many pieces are made as one-offs and are not repeatedly reproduced, helping customers choose jewellery that is less likely to be seen on someone else. The business has also stated that its diamonds are purchased through a distributor supplying ethically sourced, conflict-free stones.

For customers in Rockhampton, Carella offers access to a trade-qualified jeweller rather than only a retail counter. That is useful for people who want to discuss how a design will actually be made, compare material options or create jewellery around a specific idea. The business is best suited to customers who value hand manufacturing, customisation and a direct relationship with the jeweller producing the finished piece.
