About Tayha Designs WA Jewellery

Tayha Designs is the independent jewellery practice of Western Australian designer and jeweller Taryn Compagnoni. With more than 20 years of experience, Taryn focuses on Australian-made bespoke jewellery created in a small workshop environment where each project can be developed around the customer rather than adapted from mass-produced stock.

Custom design is at the centre of the business. A commission begins with a conversation about style, budget and the meaning behind the piece, followed by gemstone sourcing, sketches and design refinement before manufacture begins. Taryn works with ethically sourced diamonds, gemstones and precious metals and keeps clients updated as a piece moves from raw materials through forming, setting and final polishing.

Remodelling is another important part of Tayha Designs. Customers can bring in older jewellery, inherited gemstones or a ring that no longer suits them and discuss how its valuable or sentimental elements could be transformed into a new design. Cleaning and repair services are also available, helping clients maintain jewellery after the initial purchase.

The business also produces ready-to-wear pieces through its online store, including rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets. For customers who want something unique, however, the strongest part of Tayha Designs is the direct maker relationship and the ability to follow a piece from idea to finished jewellery.

Jewellink’s older Scarborough location should be reviewed, as the current business describes a countryside workshop with collection arrangements available through Coorow or Osborne Park.
