Midas Jewellery is a family fine-jewellery business whose craft heritage began with Sait Altundag and his early work as a jeweller. One of the family’s defining stories is the handcrafted silver belt he made for his wife as a wedding gift, a piece that helped inspire the jewellery business later continued by his sons. The family adopted the Midas name in 1985 and established its Australian presence in Sydney.

The Miranda boutique is one of Midas Jewellery’s core Sydney locations and remains closely associated with the Altundag family. The brand specialises in diamond jewellery, engagement rings, wedding pieces and bespoke commissions, with master jewellers available to develop individual designs rather than relying only on pre-made settings.

Midas describes its jewellery as handmade rather than assembly-line manufactured.
