Mordialloc Lapidary Club is a volunteer-operated, not-for-profit club based at 49–51 Albert Street in Mordialloc. Established in 1967, it provides a community meeting place for people interested in gemstones, minerals, jewellery making and lapidary.
Members can learn and practise gemstone cabbing and faceting, stone cutting and polishing, silversmithing, carving, enamelling and other jewellery-making techniques. The club also supports fossicking and mineral collecting interests, with workshops and activities depending on instructor and member availability.
The club welcomes people who want to develop practical skills and become part of the local lapidary community. Contact Mordialloc Lapidary Club directly for current membership details, workshop hours, classes, field trips and visitor information.
