Have shopped here for many years and always recommended Prouds at Marion to family/friends. Bought a watch which was faulty within less than a week of purchase, and was treated rudely by young staff member who argued about my entitlement to a refund. After disappearing for some time to speak with the manager, she comes out and tells me that u201cthis time and this time onlyu201d, she will give a refund as u201ca gesture of goodwill u201c. I pointed out to her that under Australian Consumer Law, which is displayed in the shop, if a product is faulty or unsafe, a refund is to be given. Her response was a gruff u201clet me finishu201c and proceeds to rant at me. She simply needed to do what the law required her to do, it shouldnu2019t be that difficult. Her rudeness and general attitude is unacceptable. Loyal customer lost.
