I visited the Angus & Coote Elizabeth store today with the intention of purchasing a sterling silver chain for my son. When I politely asked the staff member to bring the chains out from the glass cabinet so we could properly view them before purchasing, she refused and stated that she would be u201cfiredu201d for doing so.nnNot only was this refusal unreasonable, but the manner in which it was delivered was dismissive and quite rude. It is entirely unacceptable for customers to be discouraged from viewing an item they are prepared to purchase. As a result of this poor service, we left the store and went to Michael Hill, where the staff were professional, respectful and more than happy to assist.nnAngus & Coote lost a definite sale today due to the lack of basic customer care and unwillingness to help. This experience has left me very disappointed and reluctant to return.

The staff are always very helpful and bend over backwards to give you the best deals. Kia and her colleagues are without doubt the best jewellery store in the centre. Keep up the good work ladies.

Very poor customer service u2026rude to customers u2026especially KIAH and Amy u2026instead of providing some solutions to the customers ..they keep on arguingu2026I lost two earrings bought from the store because of butterfly stoppersu2026had put two more earrings on lay-by and a ring u2026I just wanted refund on one of themn.which they refused..I understand it could be Angus policy u2026But they could have said in a nicer way u2026Amy instead of providing me with solutions like store credit etc..when I asked for store credit she..said just now u wanted refund ..I have been your loyal customer .in last six months I have bought 1 watch, two pairs of diamonds earrings,I diamond ring and a diamond pendant ..I would like to shop with Angus again but not if I am served by rude Employees like them.
