It is not high-end, it is not high priced and yet some of the people writing one star reviews clearly have no idea about jewelry.nIf you purchase a Gold pendant for $150, you would expect to get a relatively small pendant on a display chain. A 9 carat gold pendant chain costs in the vicinity of $400-$1000 depending on the weight so when people kick off on Google reviews about receiving a chain where u2018the gold just rubbed offu2019 I sit here and shake my head. You paid $150!! ud83eudd26u200du2640ufe0fnAlso, people who want to come in and haggle over the prices. You canu2019t haggle at a retail store. Do you try and haggle at Coles? Do you try and haggle at Kmart? The prices are fixed. They are set by the corporate head office and there is no wriggle room.nOther people expecting miracles from retail staff also have me perplexed. The people working in the store are retail workers. they arenu2019t jewellers and they arenu2019t watchmakers. They are literally there to serve you and sell you things. If you need a watch repair, go to a watchmaker. If you need a jewelry repair, either go to a manufacturing jeweller or allow the staff at the prouds store to send it off for repair. Standing in the store stamping your feet is not going to get you what you want.nSo, ladies and gents before you start writing one star reviews for a cheap retail jewelry store, remember where you are. If you want high end jewelry, go and visit Mazzuchellis Or VF Trainor In the CBD.nProuds Is a great place for little trinket gifts. It is what it is so please stop expecting Tiffany quality and service from a basic retail store.

Staff were abysmally rude and dismissive. My partner and I entered when the store was utterly empty, and greeted staff politely and with friendliness. We were met with scorn and disdain.nnThey consistently ignored us and interrupted us when we asked questions or provided information (that they had asked for!) and were not able to answer any of our questions (about resizing an item purchased from Prouds) with any confidence.nnI'm not sure if they're homophobic or just nasty, but I would not recommend anyone visit this store. Their attitude was so deplorable that I will not be purchasing any products from any Prouds stores in the future.

Horrible staff service, they donu2019t care who you are and are constantly making comments about you, they made me and my partner feel like I cannot afford anything expensive by judging usu2026this is outrageous only if they had human decency to treat people in a kinder wayu2026I wonu2019t be returning ever. I donu2019t know if this is racist behaviour but google reviews show me they treat everyone the same. I urge Proud Corporate to do something about their employees or fire them all. Because what is the point of being in Highpoint if you canu2019t even sell jewellery by behaving decently.
