Iu2019m not usually someone who leaves negative reviews, but after visiting on the 14th of February, I feel this feedback is warranted. Iu2019ve visited this store 3u20134 times and have consistently experienced disappointing service, which makes it difficult to overlook. I understand one staff member doesnu2019t represent an entire team, however the customer service has repeatedly felt unwelcoming and inattentive. On multiple occasions, I felt ignored and as though my presence was an inconvenience. In a customer facing role, basic courtesy and engagement should be the standard. If providing assistance feels burdensome, then perhaps a different role would definitely be more suitable. Customer service is such an important part of retail, especially when purchasing jewellery. I believe there is significant room for improvement in how customers are welcomed and assisted.

Purchased gold hoop earrings from Angus & Coote at Sunshine Plaza, Maroochydore as a Christmas gift for my wife. I spent a long time in-store deciding, and at no point was I told that refunds are not offered.nnWhen my wife didnu2019t like the earrings, I returned on Boxing Day expecting a refund, only to be abruptly told they only offer exchange or store credit. This was the first Iu2019d heard of this policy.nnA no-refund policy should be clearly explained at the time of purchase, especially for gifts. Very disappointing experience and poor customer service. I wonu2019t be shopping here again.

After 23 years of being a very regular customer of Angus & Coote i will never buy again from the company. We were treated with the absolute most appalling behaviour from the Manager Jen. Worst customer service ever, would never have expected the treatment we received coming from a Manager of a store. I notice other reviews reflect the same dissatisfaction also. Shame on Angus & Coote for not addressing what would appear to be an ongoing problem.
