Caloundra Lapidary Club is a not-for-profit community club based at 9 Caloundra Road in Caloundra West. Founded in 1968, the club helps members learn and practise a range of lapidary and jewellery-making skills in a dedicated clubhouse.
Facilities support cabochon cutting, gemstone faceting and silversmithing, and the club also encourages fossicking and gem identification. Its on-site museum contains a collection of rocks, minerals and gemstones and is open to the public at selected times.
The club provides a welcoming way for Sunshine Coast residents to learn from experienced members and become involved in the local gem and mineral community. Contact Caloundra Lapidary Club directly for current membership information, workshop hours, museum access, events and visitor arrangements.
