Redcliffe Peninsula Lapidary Club, trading as Redcliffe Gem Club, is based in the Redcliffe Lapidary Building at 4 Henzell Street in the Redcliffe Botanic Gardens. Founded in 1965, the club is a community-focused organisation centred on lapidary and related gem and jewellery interests.
The club supports lapidary, metalsmithing and gemstone faceting. Members can learn practical skills at their own pace with help from volunteer instructors, including cutting, shaping and polishing stone and working with precious metals for jewellery.
The club welcomes beginners as well as people with existing experience. Contact Redcliffe Gem Club directly for current membership details, workshop opening hours, introductory activities and upcoming market days before visiting the Henzell Street clubrooms.
