Mt Gravatt Lapidary Society is a volunteer-run community organisation based off Carson Lane at 1873 Logan Road in Upper Mount Gravatt. The society promotes lapidary and allied crafts and provides a local place for people to learn and practise gem-related skills.
Members share an interest in transforming natural stone and gem material through lapidary techniques and related craft work. The club environment gives beginners an opportunity to learn from experienced members while allowing established hobbyists to continue developing their skills.
Contact Mt Gravatt Lapidary Society directly for current information about membership, workshop opening times, training, facilities and visitor access. Confirm directions to the Carson Lane clubrooms before attending.
