I recently visited Prouds Carindale intending to purchase a watch I had already been looking at from another retailer. While the other store needed to order it in, Prouds had it available in-store, which was a big plus.nnInitially, the watch was listed at full retail price, which surprised me since it had previously been on sale elsewhere. However, without hesitation, the staff offered to match the competitive sale price, which I appreciated.nnDuring the purchasing process, the staff member came across as somewhat rude and dismissive, and I felt rushed through the transaction. I also wasnu2019t given a proper opportunity to inspect the watch before purchasing.nnAfter I paid, the watch was resized for me, and only then did I get a proper look at it. It was covered in noticeable scratches across both the bracelet and the watch itself u2014 especially concerning given the watch was priced at over $1000 and sold as new. It genuinely looked like it had been worn regularly for months.nnI raised this immediately and requested a refund. To her credit, the staff member handled this professionally and understood that the condition was not acceptable, and the refund was processed without issue.nnWhen I asked why the watch had no protective plastic or signs of being kept in new condition, I didnu2019t receive a clear answer. I was told it may be due to being moved into storage nightly because of its value, but for a watch in this price range, that does not justify the level of wear and scratching present.nnOverall, while I appreciate the price match and the smooth refund process, the condition of the watch, lack of inspection opportunity, and initial customer service left a lot to be desired. I would strongly recommend thoroughly inspecting any item before purchasing.

This is my go to place to purchase cute and affordable jewellery HOWEVER I went in to look at some sale items, try some things on and the sales assistance was not very pleasant at all. She was grabby when I was trying to look at pieces, she could barely get them on with her ridiculous nails and she had a bad attitude. I ALWAYS ask for my pieces I am wearing to get a run down with a cleaning rag while I am trying new things on and she refused and kept going on and on about it, when I only asked and it is done by EVERYONE I have EVER asked at Prouds, including this location with no problem! Sales assistant NYSA has no intention with connecting positively with you as a customer, snapped the receipt out of the machine and handed it to me and was just generally, not enjoyable to be around. I spent hundreds of dollars worth of jewellery and donu2019t even want to open the bag due to the whole negative experience. Go to Prouds Carindale for the sales, NOT the help from the sales assistants!nI have been to this location and bought jewellery 50+ times and now, I donu2019t plan on going back.

Disgusting ! The 22/01/26 I was served by a women who asked to view my drivers license prior to holding a bracelet that I wanted to purchase. I asked, why? As I have never in my life walked into a store to look a purchasing a product to only be questioned on my identity! Her response u201cwe have had a few snatch and runsu201d I felt absolutely offended belittled embarrassed in front of other customers in the store! If this is not discrimination, I surely would love to know what this action would be called! To add to this there were other customers in the store that did not get questioned for drivers license! Iu2019m a qualified therapist that actually works in the prison system! Proud, your staff clearly need to be up skilled, discrimination is not okay. This experience was absolutely horrifying!!!!!! Iu2019m still lost for words! And I still brought the bracelet! Refuse to walk out with a so called PROUD bag or box. I walked out with the bracelet and a receipt in my hand absolutely disgusting service!
