If you are seeking friendly, courteous and helpful service or advice, avoid Miki, a young, juvenile, irritable female employee who was stationed at the entrance of this store on Sat 24 Jan 2026 (presumably in charge of the ear piercings).nnI had the most unpleasant experience with Miki as witnessed by my family. From the outset, Miki was quite annoyed, insolent and presumptuous when I requested to see the store manager, Ashley (who had left earlier) and when I tried to explain the circumstances to her re my daughteru2019s potential need of re-piercing.nnI felt slighted by this rude, arrogant and condescending (supposed) interim manager whose intonation was both overbearing and insistent.nnI was appalled by Mikiu2019s treatment of customers and by her blatant lack of respect shown to customers by a Lovisa representative; it is disappointing for such a large, reputable company.nnMikiu2019s dismissive and unprofessional demeanor was deeply insulting and is inconsistent with the standards expected of someone in a leadership position.nnFor me, this is not about what is being said that matters rather than about how it is being said. In a professional retail environment, how you speak often outweighs what you say.nnFeeling unsettled, I stepped outside the store momentarily. Mikiu2019s conduct was so undesirous and unacceptable that I felt compelled to seek assistance from the front desk.nnI went back into the store and to my surprise and exasperation, Miki brashly followed behind me, invading my space and seemingly intent on inhibiting me from any exchange with others.nnPredictably, she rudely and audaciously halted and hijacked my conversation with her colleague.nnDo not deal with Miki. In my opinion, she needs to pull her socks up and brush up on her basic manners and customer service skills for she is damaging the reputation of the Chadstone Lovisa.
