Extremely poor service and what felt like racial discrimination at Cartier ChadstonenI visited the Cartier boutique at Chadstone Shopping Centre on 29th of May, 2026 around 6pm and had one of the worst luxury retail experiences Iu2019ve ever had.nI joined the queue outside the store and waited over 30 minutes in line. During this time, I clearly saw multiple people leaving the store, yet staff continued to refuse entry to those of us waiting outside. No explanation was given, no updates were provided, and the staff showed zero care or communication. Several customers ahead of me eventually gave up and walked away.nWhat made this worse is that I felt strongly discriminated against due to my skin colour. The way staff looked at me and the complete lack of basic courtesy made me feel unwelcome and judged from the moment I approached. This is not the standard I expect from a prestigious brand like Cartier, especially at a flagship location like Chadstone.nLuxury shopping should be about respect and service, not long unexplained waits and what appears to be selective treatment. I will not be returning to this store and I strongly advise others to reconsider shopping here if they value dignity and professionalism.
