Michael Hill | Malvern East

We visited City On A Hill - in Malvern East on Sunday August 04 and August 11, 2019 for their 11am services. Having known of City On A Hill and their church plant through Acts 29 around ten years ago and the incredible growth in becoming a campus style church, it was good to see it first hand. We really enjoyed the service, the location and the meeting facility. We love their authentic u2018down to earthu2019 style of worship and especially appreciate their expositional preaching from the Bible. Having scripture read out before the message and on the overhead during the message is a real bonus in this day and age as often there is too little of it in many churches. Their organisation was superb, especially for a rented premises and their friendliness was one of the best we have encountered in recent times. The people we spoke with were genuinely interested in us as people and were not simply trying to get us to join their church. Obviously, they would like us to and they made this an easy process, but it did not come across as the main reason. We found this was refreshing. So, well done City On A Hill - Melbourne East Campus.

Love this church. It's become home now. People are so friendly, warm, and welcoming. The teaching is biblical and on point. A loving community is being fostered here with an emphasis on truth and grace in the gospel communities (i.e. small Bible study groups). If you want sound teaching, good fellowship, and to know and grow in Christ, this is the church for you :)

I have been attending this church for 5 years now. The community that I have as a result has been not only but supportive but encouraging. I have made life long friends here The Pastors here truly teach from the Bible and are knowledgeable and biblically sound. The weekly support groups are something I have come to love and treasure. For anyone feeling a little lost in life or stuck in a rut, check out COAH. God is moving and it will change your life!
