My soon to be wife came through and purchased my wedding ring a couple days ago, and ive come home today and seen it/tried it on etc, now whilst doing so noticed that it had black crap all over it, like stuck tk the ring. It was filthy. The box it came in when I opened it, essentially snapped in two, the mechanism that opens the box tore out the hinge, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The size was fine, given that my partner used another ring for size comparison, but the qualities that Prouds controls, such as cleanliness, packaging, etc were all shocking. It isnt a particularly expensive ring, I have no interest in anything flashy, however I would imagine that regardless of cost, when purchasing a wedding band I should at the very least be able to expect it to come clean in the box.nnMy partner will be bringing it back to the store for cleaning or replacement and a new box, I will update this review after feedback from her experience rectifying the issue.
