If youu2019re looking for quality gold jewelry to last- go elsewhere.nI have owned 2 separate pieces of S&S- a necklace and a bracelet and they have both broken in record times. I have had many friends who have expressed the same frustration.nI have never had a pure gold clasp just spontaneously break like the necklace did. Truly appalling quality for what is quite expensive jewelry considering itu2019s so fine and so little gold is actually used.nI have jewelry that is decades old and others that are much cheaper but still real solid gold that has withstood much more wear without failing. I wear solid gold always and I actually have no other broken pieces of jewelry other than my 2 pieces of Sarah & Sebastian ones and I think this speaks to the very poor quality and poor liability they chose to take for it.nLooking for pieces that last- with the same budget you can get much better quality elsewhere.nI know have 2 pieces that they have said they cannot repair. Very disappointing.

POOR QUALITY - AVOID!! I spent $400 on a tiny cartilage earring from Sarah & Sebastian. I had it put in by one of their team members. I was super careful not to touch it. Within a month, it had fallen out. Panicked, I turned my house upside down and after hours of searching, I found both sides of the earring. After that experience, I went back every 2 weeks to have their team tighten the earring for me to prevent this from happening again. BETWEEN APPOINTMENTS - yes, within less than 2 weeks after it had been professionally tightened by their staff, the earring had fallen out again. This time I wasn't so lucky. The piece was gone and I haven't been able to find it.nnPrior to my S&S piece, I had a Mejuri cartilage earring in the same piercing for months without any issue. Sadly, as beautiful as it was, my S&S earring fell out twice and was long gone within 2 months of purchasing it.nnFor $400, the quality of the fastening is simply not good enough. I feel like I just flushed money down the drain. The S&S team was sympathetic but ultimately not willing to resolve the issue.nnI'll be avoiding S&S from now on. Back to Mejuri!!

I invested significantly in their curated ear service, only to have aftercare and support abruptly cut off. Despite my attempts to resolve the situation, I was left feeling marginalized and unvalued. I expected consistent, fair service, but instead, Iu2019ve had to escalate to Fair Trading just to reach a resolution. I expected far more from a brand of this reputation, and I hope they reflect on how they treat all customers going forward.
