On August 26th, my husband bought me a ring from the Michael Hill website to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Before making the purchase, he asked if the ring could be resized in case he chose the wrong size, and he was told yes.nnTrusting that information, he ordered the ring in size S, which turned out to be too big for my finger.nnWhen we went to the store to have it resized, we were told that rings can only be adjusted one size up or down, something that was never mentioned before the purchase. If my husband had known that, he would never have placed the order in that size.nnWe then spoke to the store manager, but unfortunately, she told us there was nothing she could do and ended the conversation abruptly, without offering any help or alternatives.nnIt was a very disappointing and unpleasant experience, especially on such a meaningful date for us. Now I have a beautiful ring that I cannot wear, and it truly ruined what should have been a happy and memorable occasion.nnI hope Michael Hill improves the clarity of information given to customers and provides better service in situations like this, so no one else has to go through the same experience.

Exceptional customer service, I had Kellie from your store in Hobart help me with ring size and choosing a ring, I was in the process of shopping around and I wasn't pressured to purchase, but with the amount of help she offered knowing that i was more likely to purchase the ring in QLD as that's were i was heading back to, so I ended up buying from this store as I'm well aware of the importance of great customer service. How frustrating they never pick up any call. On October i gave my ring to polish, they said they will call us in 1-2 weeks now its November. Shit service.
